THE LOCAL AREA.
Bahia Golf is located in a quiet, new, residential area of Villamartin but just an 8 minute stroll away from Villamartin Plaza where you will find a wide selection of restaurants , bars, shops & a supermarket. The nearest beach is at la Zenia just 3 km away, with several other blue flag beaches all along the coast. At La Zenia you will find more shops,bars and a larger Consum supermarket. There is also a 24/7 shop on the roundabout.
Torrevieja ( the main town in the area ) is a resort in it's own right with it's many beaches and variety of shops, supermarkets & street markets. From here you can have a day trip by boat to Tabarca island, a nature reserve and ideal for those who like snorkeling. The front at Torrevieja has a large marina and promenade where you can watch the world go by.
If you like markets you'll be in heaven! There are markets throughout the area virtually every day of the week. The biggest by far is held in Torrevieja.
